James F. Atchison Memorial Park

The James F. Atchison Memorial Park is located behind the Lyon Township Municipal Center, which is located at 58000 Grand River Avenue in New Hudson.  

The park is open daily from dawn until dusk.  Please be advised that vehicles are not allowed to enter the park during winter and early spring, due to the roadways not being plowed and/or the ground being extremely soft.   The park usually opens for vehicular traffic sometime around Easter.

Parks and Recreation Board

The Parks and Recreation Board works with the Board of Trustees to determine the best use of Township resources to provide recreational activities for Township residents and visitors.  Members are appointed to three-year terms and meet monthly.  If you are interested in serving on the Board, please complete an application and return it to the Township.
